The Future of Marketing is Now: Introducing the Metaverse

It used to only appear in science fiction but the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Metaverse is now a reality. Who knew that those with such imagination were actually seers? We only have to remember the all-powerful computer HAL from the 2001 A Space Odyssey movie to get an idea of how close reality can mimic fiction.

Using such scientific advances in marketing is a huge and wonderful undertaking. Not only does it require advanced technical prowess, but it also requires creative minds to make AI marketing in the Metaverse a successful strategy.

What exactly is the Metaverse? The Metaverse is a virtual reality world where users can interact and experience things as they would in the real world. Its existence depends on Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) both of which make up what is referred to as “Metaverse space.” It’s the internet, but in 3D.

For now, in order to be a part of this reality, users wear headsets that immerse them in a 3-D environment. They also carry motion-sensing controllers to interact with virtual objects and use a microphone to communicate with others. The operating software is known as avatars.

We believe the Metaverse holds tremendous marketing promise and opportunities for the legal community as it can personalize the experience of communicating with clients and potential clients in a way that nothing in the past has been able to do.

The Group Matrix staff understands that how the Metaverse will be conceived and implemented by personal injury professionals is still a work in process. For personal injury attorneys, it will require research and understanding of all the pros and cons before embracing it as the future of their digital marketing and business operation.

That said, there are ways you can implement the Metaverse in your digital marketing campaigns now. Consider the possibilities of conducting a 3-D video tour of your office where your clients and potential clients see where you work and can communicate with a staff attorney’s avatar. You could host attorney-led webinars about your practice and services, or post videos that show how a particular personal injury accident can occur and be avoided. Going further, imagine your personal injury law firm having an additional office in the Metaverse. The possibilities are endless.

The Metaverse is continuing to develop so its manifestations will continue to change as it grows. For now, it remains a more experiential and immersive version of the current internet – one that we at Group Matrix are ready to explore and advance.

We believe the future is now and tomorrow.
