Richard Sackett inducted into the 2024 Trial Lawyer Advertising Hall of Fame

It was with great humility and gratitude that our very own Richard David Sackett was inducted into the Trial Lawyer Advertising Hall of Fame for 2024 at their annual event held in Miami, Florida.

Each year, the A-List, an organization that celebrates America’s premier advertising law firms, presents The Trial Lawyer Advertising Hall of Fame honor to the pioneers and most influential people in legal advertising for their immense contributions to the marketing and advertising efforts within the legal industry.

Richard Sackett is the founder and CEO of Group Matrix Advertising. He leveraged his early career accomplishments as Executive Vice President of Fetty & Associates to establish his own company in 1970. His innovative approach did and still does combine traditional advertising with emerging digital methods, setting a new benchmark in legal marketing.

According to a recent press release published by the A List, Richard “has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of legal advertising. His career took a significant turn following the landmark Bates v. State Bar of Arizona decision in 1977, revolutionizing the legal industry by permitting lawyers to advertise. Recognizing the potential in this historic ruling, Sackett adeptly steered his focus towards leveraging advertising for legal services, thereby pioneering new strategies in legal marketing. His innovative vision and contributions have profoundly impacted how legal services are promoted, setting new standards and paving the way for future advancements in the field.”

In addition to his iconic advertising methods, Richard taught at Loyola University Law School, has spoken at events of the American Association for Justice, and has been instrumental in shaping both federal and state regulatory frameworks.

Under Richard’s focused leadership, Group Matrix Advertising is a leading force in the mass marketing of legal services, helping to support the growth of personal injury law firms across 35+ markets. Using his unique talent and foresight, his techniques continue to guide law firms in developing specific marketing strategies that the current trends demand.

Richard’s induction into the 2024 Trial Lawyer Advertising Hall of Fame is a testament to his enduring influence and exceptional contributions to the evolution of legal advertising and marketing.

Congratulations, Richard!
